In contrast, 34.1% of women focused on the potential partner’s preparedness for retirement, and 25.2% valued tolerance.

Both genders agreed on the importance of mutual respect, with 19.0% of men and 17.4% of women ranking it as their third consideration. Additionally, 18.2% of men prioritized their partner’s retirement readiness as the fourth criterion, while 15.1% of women considered self-maintenance.

In terms of what increases attractiveness during a remarriage matchmaking session, 28.7% of men were drawn to a bright demeanor, whereas 27.5% of women appreciated a partner with extensive general knowledge. Complimentary habits were also favored, with 24.7% of men and 25.3% of women valuing this trait.

Other attractive qualities included a humble attitude (22.1% of men) and extensive knowledge (16.7% of men), while women also favored a bright expression (21.3%) and quick wit (17.4%).

As you might know, there are many divorced families in Korea. Many divorced individuals agree on the need for remarriage but often hesitate to make a commitment.
